Discover The Process
Every pair of Vocello speakers is built with patience. What you see in the finished cabinet - the depth of the gloss, the seamless joints, the quiet authority - comes from dozens of small steps, each allowed to dry, cure, and settle before the next begins.
Shaping by Hand
Routing & test-fits: Braces, side walls, baffles and other structural elements are hand-routed, then dry-fitted repeatedly. Each component is checked many times through the build to ensure a precise, stress-free fit. If it doesn’t seat perfectly, we rework it—now, not later.

Primer, Sand, Repeat
Primer coats: Applied in a temperature-controlled space. Typical cure: 24 hours between coats, followed by block sanding to a dead-flat surface.
High-build stages: Where needed, surfaces rest 24 hours before the next pass to prevent print-through and to keep panels acoustically inert.
The Metallic Base & 3D Depth
After the metallic base fully dries, we begin building the clear system. The first two clear coats are tinted with metallic to create a subtle 3D depth that shifts with the light. We then apply additional clear coats to achieve a true high-gloss finish. For stability and surface integrity, each clear coat is allowed an extended 24-hour cure before the next application.

Fitment, Again...
Throughout finishing, we continue to test-fit drivers, ports, and hardware. All parts fit correctly, screw heads sit flush, tolerances remain tight. If the finish added a micron, we account for it.
Built to Last
Great sound endures—and so should the cabinet that delivers it. Our process prioritizes stability over speed. The proof is in the field: pairs built a decade ago show no signs of deterioration and sound as fresh as the day they left the bench. Our speakers are crafted to look as good years from now as it does on day one.
